WHY DOES THIS COURSE EXIST?

Attention spans are getting shorter, we are faced with more distractions than ever before, and we are in information overload. It’s getting harder to get attention, be listened to, and make an impact.

How do you stand out from the crowd, get attention and get engagement?

Comedians are masters of engagement – they can do it instantly. Comedians can skillfully use humour to connect with their audience. In this workshop, you will discover how to deliver your message with more humour, more entertainment and more engagement and still maintain your credibility!

FUNNY ON PURPOSE FOUNDATIONS combines the skills of Comedians with the strategies of business to show you how to get attention, connect and engage with your audience (and your audience can be anyone; your customers, clients, prospects, suppliers and team).

The biggest problem most people face is when they think of humour is they think of it in the context of humour for entertainment – where the focus is on being funny, cracking jokes and getting laughs. But when you are using humour for business – that doesn’t quite work.

Instead, when using humour for business – think of it as the ACE up your sleeve. In a business context, you want to use humour for getting Attention, Connection and Engagement.

Humour is also the perfect antidote to disengagement that happens when things are too dull, too dry or too boring. Theron Harmon, from Harmon Brothers – (the Advertising Agency behind hilarious viral brand videos including PooPouri, Squatty Potty and Click Funnels) says…

“People don’t bail because it’s too long, they bail because it’s too boring.” Theron Harmon

"Humour is a very powerful business tool - only if it’s used with business in mind"
